In the pursuit of perfection, we embark on a journey to craft a sophisticated and complex alternative to wine: NON2 CARAMELISED PEAR & KOMBU.
Our process begins by meticulously selecting the finest Australian Packham pears. The pears are roasted and their natural sugars undergo ‘pyrolysis’ which is when the sugars oxidise to turn a rich caramel colour and add complexity and depth of flavour. These are then sous vide overnight.
NON2 CARAMELISED PEAR & KOMBU is perfect for when you want to self indulge with a cheese board or you are firing up the BBQ to roast meats and Mediterranean vegetables on a cool crisp evening.
